These proven services are now available to clients outside the United States through Charlotte C. Simon International Consulting (CCSIC), which developed as a natural outgrowth of Charlotte’s U.S.-based work.
CCSP has focused on high-profile, multimedia charitable events that have raised significant monies for hospitals and nonprofit organizations. Charlotte’s credits include creating and launching the Toys “R” Us Evening for Special Children. She served as executive producer of this event for 16 years, raising nearly $40 million (USD) for children’s charities in the U.S. Audiences have been as large as 2,500 guests. Charlotte also created and launched the Dream & Promise Awards Benefit for the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. She produced 17 benefits raising over $15 million (USD) during her tenure. Other noted events produced by CCSP include the first five Lou Gehrig Sports Awards Benefit for the Greater New York Chapter of The ALS Association; the first four Q Award Galas for Queens College; the show marking the 40th anniversary of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; and themed events for Cadbury Schweppes and U.S. Sunkist.
CCSP provides full-scope services, including creative development, fund-raising goals and strategy, film/video, stage and lighting design, orchestra and sound, labor negotiations, publications, scripting and travel arrangements. Charlotte works closely with corporate co-chairs, sponsors and the guest artists’ management teams throughout the event-planning process.
